Own and scale Variate’s design systems and delivery engine by leading how complex work moves from vision to execution, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and quality across every client experience.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Director of Design Systems and Delivery to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about scalable design systems, efficient delivery, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
You’ll lead the creation and maintenance of design systems while ensuring seamless delivery across projects. Reporting to Variate’s Head of Client Operations, you’ll have the chance to innovate, collaborate, and shape the future of design.
This is a remote, US-based role with flexible hours during the Eastern Time Zone workday.
Who We Are Looking For
6+ years in design, UX, interaction, or product design, with a focus on delivery and design systems.
3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and delivery processes.
Proven ability to maintain delivery calendars and ensure high-quality handoffs.
Expertise in design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and ADA reviews.
Skilled in content guidelines, troubleshooting, and delivery handoffs.
Proficiency with Figma and strong communication skills
